Building our Future: Limitless Heights Scholarship Program
This scholarship provides Lawrence Heights and Neptune residents of all ages with financial support for post-secondary education or training.
Heights Development Inc. has donated $500,000 to the Toronto Community Housing scholarship fund for the purpose of helping residents to acquire knowledge and skills needed to secure better lives.
This scholarship program recognizes the commitment of resident leaders of all ages, who have been involved in community development initiatives and have made significant contributions within the Lawrence Heights and Neptune communities.
The scholarship program offers:
Up to $3,000 for tuition fees
$300 bursary to cover additional costs, including books, laboratory materials, transportation and childcare service
There are three intake periods:
1) Fall intake: First offers are sent February 1st and ongoing after that – right up until Day 1
2) Winter intake: We send acknowledgement letters out once we receive the application, but offers for Winter do not get issued until mid –September (e.g. Sept. 2017 for Jan 2018 start date)
3) Spring intake: We send acknowledgement letters out once we receive the application, but offers for Spring get issued starting in January prior (e.g. Jan. 2018 for May 2018).
